Osvaldo Martinez

Hello everyone! My name is Osvaldo Martinez and this will be my first year as a teacher! I graduated from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (V's Up!) with a degree in Music Education in order to fulfil dream as a music educator. Ever since I joined the band program in middle school, I developed a passion for music and have stuck with it ever since. My main instrument is the saxophone, but I also play the flute and many other instruments. I also have a background with jazz performance and love playing at any chance I get. I am very excited to join the GCC family, and I hope to bring many great ideas about music to GCC that I learned from studying in the diverse culture that is in the RGV area. 
 
I grew up here in Fort Worth, and I am a proud Richard J. Wilson Elementary Alumni! Some of my favorite hobbies are reading, collecting retro video games, going out for walks with my brother, spending time with my friends and family, and of course anything and everything that has to do with music! 

Christa Brewer

I have been the art teacher for 18 years at GCC. My favorite thing about being a teacher is watching students grow in their artistic ability and creativity. I graduated from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in 2014. My husband and I have live in Fort Worth and we have one son, Jacob, who is in sixth grade. As a family, we like to camp, swim, watch movies and play games. I like to cook with cast iron, drink coffee, and create art.

Eduardo Chiapa

This is my 16th year teaching at George C Clarke Elementary. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education from The University of Texas Arlington. I am Certified in both bilingual education and kinesiology which has allowed me to teach both in the classroom and the gym. My goal at GCC is for my students to enjoy a variety of activities that will motivate them to stay healthy and be active inside and outside of school. My wife, Justine, is a nurse . We both graduated from FWISD's North Side High School , and have been married 12 years. We enjoy spending time with family and friends, taking care of our cat (Tuna), our new puppy (Morty), and traveling.
